Patrick Sheridan served his apprenticeship with a leading Human Rights focused firm of Solicitors, rising quickly to the level of partner, before leaving in 2001 to start Sheridan & Co Solicitors in Downpatrick. He is an experienced litigator and has achieved notable outcomes for clients in cases ranging from Personal Injury Caims through to Judicial Reviews. He also acts for clients in various matrimonial and family law cases and is a practitioner of Collaborative Law, which, where the parties are committed to it, can significantly shorten and simplify the procedure of divorce and division of assets. Patrick holds a Certificate in Advanced Advocacy and is recognised as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Paul McEvoy trained in a leading Personal Injury litigation practice, quickly becoming a partner in an affiliated firm before leaving in August 2002 to join with Patrick Sheridan in establishing McEvoy Sheridan Solicitors. Paul’s main areas of expertise are in personal injury litigation, commercial and domestic conveyancing and wills and probate. He acts for a number of significant business clients and has wide ranging experience in the sale and purchase of businesses, in liquor and pharmacy licencing, and in company and partnership formation and dissolution. He holds a Certificate in Commercial Conveyancing.
We practice from modern, prominently positioned offices on the Ormeau Road in Belfast and on St Patrick’s Avenue in Downpatrick. Both offices are wheelchair accessible and car parking is available on-site.
